Meet Darren & Heather

Darren Murphy, aka “Murph,” has deep roots in Lakefield and is proud to call this community home. As the owner and day-to-day face of The Market, Darren brings his love of great food, cooking and bringing people together to everything he does.

Together with his wife, Heather Twohey, who operates her family business, Twohey Home, with more than 70 years in the Peterborough community, they share a strong belief in local business, lasting relationships and supporting the community they call home.
